« Existing installations and new installations will bear the burden of the transition, » Marco said. « Existing installations will be increasingly impacted by the rise in traditional refrigerant prices due to quota reductions, while new installations will face additional costs for equipment and safety, depending on their choice. »
The twofold approach of severe quota reductions and the upcoming ban on refrigerants in refrigeration installations is creating significant anxiety throughout the fishery cold chain.
