2023 was the warmest year since measurements started 174 years ago and 2024 is the hottest summer we have experienced. Global warming is no longer a potential future, it is here. But if the changing weather is affecting us on a personal level, the increasing reporting requirements on environmental KPIs, and new regulations are hitting many on a professional level. We started the ASERCOM ESG* group to collaborate on the ESG topics that are common for us, for example reporting on green house gas emissions. The webinar will explain the scope of the working group, the work we have accomplished so far and where we want to go next.

Unique, transparent and reliable: ASERCOM’s certification programme for condensing units is the viable response to ensure legal compliance at outstanding cost/benefit ratio. It is the answer to the Ecodesign condensing unit regulation and open to everyone – a contribution to the reduction of CO2 emissions.

Pure numbers without description are not usable data. MODBUS EDS is an electronic data sheet to describe data for communication in automated systems. It’s like a dictionary for an unknown language.

Our electrical grid faces new challenges: generation of electricity is much more volatile today due to the rising content of renewable energies (wind, solar). As the grid itself cannot store energy, generation and demand of electricity have to be matched. Loads, which are not time-critical, should as much as possible be moved to times when electricity production is high. Therefore, loads with connectivity features are necessary to receive information about the current status of the grid. And such connectivity needs to be implemented cyber-secure. This webinar will give information about the new EU legislation like CRA or NIS2.

Registration and participation are free of charge. The webinars last approximately 45 minutes and there is plenty of time to ask questions. The webinars are recorded.
