Committee Activities

Marketing Group

• carries out ASERCOM PR activities
• proposes and applies communication strategy
• communicates working group positions to the media
• establishes and updates ASERCOM website
• organizes events statistics
• designs reporting format of production statistics and trend reports for consolidation by auditors
• coordinates other statistics

Technical Committee Compressors

• consists of several expert working groups
• evaluates new refrigerants replacing CFCs and HCFs
• collaborates with refrigerant producers to promote compressor manufacturers' interests
• harmonizes and releases technical statements to support users
• drafts new technical standards and/or amendments
• participates in hearings and committees at EU and national bodies
• cooperates with other European and non-European associations within the refrigeration and air conditioning industry

Certification Committee

• consists of engineers from participating companies with R&D expertise, plus indenpendent expert from notified body
• approves or rejects Certification
• checks plausibility of submitted data with special software
• publishes certified models on ASERCOM Website
