ASERCOM’s top management position has been filled: Wolfgang Zaremski has been serving as the new president of the Association of European Refrigeration Component Manufacturers since the 1st of March 2018. He is succeeding Claude Blanc who stepped down from this position at the end of 2017.
Rainer Grosse-Kracht, the new chairman of the board of ASERCOM, announces that the board is happy to have found the right person with Wolfgang Zaremski: „In times of profound changes and unsurpassed challenges for the refrigeration industry we are glad to have such an experienced person on board. Wolfgang Zaremski’s knowledge and experience gained in different leadership positions in the HVACR industry will help tremendously to bridge between trade and industry and further develop ASERCOM.“
Wolfgang Zaremski has spent his entire professional career of 40 years within the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. He worked for a variety of renowned companies such as Mitsubishi Electric, Copeland and Alco, holding various positions in engineering, services, marketing and sales. He is the founder and managing partner of an HVACR company and serves as president of the VDKF, the association for the German HVACR contractor enterprises. He will resign from that position during the VDKF General Assembly on April 20, 2018.
Wolfgang Zaremski is looking forward to his new tasks: „In addition to the continued involvement in standardisation and the active participation in regulatory matters at EU level, an important target for ASERCOM will be the broadening and deepening of the cooperation between the diverse European and national crafts associations.“
